Jessica L. Huey, Esq., PartnerMs. Huey graduated with honors from the University of California, Irvine with Bachelor’s Degrees in both Criminology and Educational Studies. She also participated in UCLinks, a program that brought technology into underprivileged classrooms. During her Senior Year, Ms. Huey was a judicial intern for Fullerton County Superior Court, as well as a file clerk for a boutique firm specializing in property disputes.Ms. Huey received her Juris Doctorate from Santa Clara University School of Law. During law school, Ms. Huey was awarded a CALI Excellence for the Future Award and Best Oral Advocate for her academic performance in Advocacy. She was also selected to participate in Galloway Moot Court and, along with her partner, Ms. Gamble, was a finalist in Honors Moot Court. Also during law school, Ms. Huey was a Certified Law Clerk at a local firm specializing in exclusively family law.Ms. Huey is passionate about working with Clients to guide them through family law issues. Through her role as Minor’s Counsel in many cases, she takes pride in knowing that she is able to bring a child’s voice into the courtroom in a safe and protected way.Ms. Huey is a Co-Chair of the Minor’s Counsel Committee of Santa Clara County.  She was also the recipient of the 2021 Santa Clara County Family Law Volunteer of the Year Award.  Ms. Huey has handled countless family law matters, representing parents, spouses, and children. Ms. Huey has taken paternity, spousal support, custody, and complex move-away issues to trial. Ms. Huey-Gregg is passionate about working with Clients to guide them through family law issues. She has represented spouses in dissolution matters, parents in custody disputes, and minor children in high-conflict matters. She has extensive litigation experience, but also prides herself on finding ways to settle cases that exceed her Clients’ expectations.

From 2020 through 2023, Ms. Huey-Gregg was the Co-Chair of the Minor’s Counsel Committee of Santa Clara County. In this role she worked to improve policies, procedures, and practices of attorneys who accepted appointments to represent children in family law, guardianship, and adoption cases.

Ms. Huey-Gregg was the recipient of the 2021 Santa Clara County Family Law Volunteer of the Year Award.

Beginning in 2024, Ms. Huey-Gregg took her vast experience representing parents and children, as well as conducting family law mediations to expand her practice offerings to include Parent Coordination appointments.

Ms. Huey-Gregg has handled countless family law matters, representing parents, spouses, and children. Ms. Huey-Gregg has taken paternity, spousal support, custody, domestic violence, and complex move-away issues to trial. She assists Clients in reaching favorable settlements, but when necessary, will zealously litigate an issue in the courtroom.

Ms. Huey-Gregg was named a Rising Star early in her career, and received consecutive annual Super Lawyers in Northern California designations.

Audrey A. Gamble, Esq., PartnerMs. Gamble attended the University of California Berkeley where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Ms. Gamble began her interests in law as a judicial intern for the Own Recognizance Project at the Alameda County Superior Court. During her senior year, Ms. Gamble managed the Own Recognizance Project interacting directly with the Court and supervising interns.Ms. Gamble received her Juris Doctorate from Santa Clara University School of Law. During her second year she was selected to participate in Honors Moot Court and excelled as a finalist with her partner Ms. Huey. Ms. Gamble also received the honor of Best Oral Advocate in her Advocacy Course. During law school, Ms. Gamble served as a Certified Law Clerk for the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office in the Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, and Real Estate Fraud Units.Ms. Gamble currently assists the Court as Minor’s Counsel, representing children in custody and visitation issues. Additionally Ms. Gamble volunteers her time to the Court as an attorney for the Family Court Settlement Project.Ms. Gamble has handled countless family law cases assisting all different types of parties. Kaya Philapil, Associate Attorney (Photo Coming Soon)

Ms. Philapil is our Associate Attorney. She graduated from Arizona State University with a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication. During her time at Arizona State, she was a Division 1 student-athlete for the university's women’s swimming team. Before attending law school, Ms. Philapil worked for her local California District Assemblymember. 

In her first year of law school, Ms. Philapil worked as a judicial intern at the Santa Clara County Family Justice Center. She also served as the Co-Vice President of the Student Bar Association and the Co-Benefit Chair of the Women & Law Organization. These roles introduced her to the field of family law and sparked her passion for working with families.

Ms. Philapil graduated from Santa Clara University, School of Law in May of 2023, and was admitted to the California State Bar in December 2023.  

Since Ms. Philapil has been working and growing with Huey & Gamble since January 10, 2022, stepping into an Associate Attorney role has been a seamless transition. She has experience managing both complex financial issues, as well as domestic violence and custody issues.

Graciela Cruz, Legal Assistant (Photo Coming Soon)

Ms. Cruz is the lead Legal Assistant to Ms. Gamble. She graduated from Chico State University with a B.S. in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology. Post-graduation, she worked for a boutique criminal law firm where she first became interested in working in the legal field and helping individual clients.

Ms. Cruz is enjoying combing her background in criminal justice and psychology with her passion for helping families as she grows within the field of Family Law.

Magaly Ramos, Legal Assistant (Photo Coming Soon)

Ms. Ramos is the lead Legal Assistant to Ms. Huey-Gregg. She has extensive experience working with families, particularly those with young children. She is bilingual, allowing her to provide more efficient support to our Spanish-speaking clients. She is a constant and invaluable presence to our clients as they navigate the challenges of a family law case.

Ms. Ramos is a certified Notary Republic, thereby allowing clients to handle any notary needs within the comfort and convenience of our office.

Stephanie Silva, Administrative Assistant (Photo Coming Soon)

Ms. Silva has a background in management and data organization. She manages the firm’s administrative needs, which include (but are not limited to) accounts receivable, tracking and collecting payments, managing potential clients, processing conflicts checks, and general client intake. When you contact our office, Ms. Silva is most likely the voice that will greet you.

Ms. Silva enjoys family law because she feels she can make an impact on people as they navigate challenging situations.
